Color Me Creative By Shreiyah

I was born and raised in India, and art has always been a huge part of my life. 

As a child, I was super creative, participating in Art Competitions, designing and making clothes for my Barbies (if you all have done this, you are my kind of people)

However, after graduating from high school, just like everyone, I decided to choose a career path that can land me a job after I graduate from college. So I got my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. After graduation, I wanted to explore my options so I decided to move to the USA where I studied Master’s in Computer Science and got a PhD in Computer Science. I continued building my career as a Business Analyst for 9 years.

During my corporate life, back in 2018, my life took a crucial turn and I had to go through an emotional upheaval that helped me put myself back on my art journey. Initially in 2019, I started with acrylic painting as a way of emotional release and self expression. Something that started as a healing process now has become my passion. It helped me find myself again, to make me feel alive again.

Words can’t express what ART has given me so through my Art Studio and my Paint & Sip events, my purpose is to spread art, spread creativity, spread joy. Bring smiles back in people’s lives. 

I moved to Canada in 2022 and I believe my move was aligned with my purpose to become an Artist. I started teaching Paint Events as a hobby and pastime activity, I am a proud full-time Artist now. It’s a beautiful opportunity to be able to express yourself creatively and with my Studio and Paint Events I am glad that I am being able to spread joy and creativity.
